There is nothing for us to delete. This app creates no account and transmits no personal data to our servers. All data stays on your device only.

1. Delete inside the app

To delete a journal entry, open the find journal, swipe left on the entry → “Delete” and confirm. The entry and its photos are removed from the device.
Clear the emergency note directly on the emergency card; reset the safety checklist with “New outing”.
To remove everything, delete the app from the device: touch and hold the icon → “Remove App” → “Delete App”, or under “Settings → General → iPhone Storage”.
Afterwards, remember copies you created yourself: exported CSV/GPX files and device backups in iCloud.

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

2. Help with deleting

We cannot delete anything for you, because we hold no data from this app. If you get stuck deleting data on your device we are happy to help — write to info@babala.ch or call us: 076 792 63 50.

Please do not include any personal data from the app in your message — we do not need it in order to help.

What gets deleted

All journal entries with date, species, notes and find locations
All photos of your finds stored in the app
The emergency note and the settings (canton, checklist, confirmation of the safety notice)

What is never stored in the first place

There is nothing for us to delete. Swiss Mushrooms transmits no data to us: no server, no account. Deletion is entirely in your hands; for the same reason we cannot restore deleted entries. Map requests to Apple (map tiles) are subject to Apple’s privacy policy.

Data on your device

Everything stored locally disappears as soon as you remove the app from your device. On iOS you can additionally choose “Delete App” in the system settings; on Android use “Uninstall” or “Storage → Clear data”.
