NovaBlocks is a block puzzle: you place three given pieces at a time on a board of 8×8 cells; completely filled rows and columns are cleared and score points, and several clears in a row give a combo bonus. There is no time pressure and no opponent. Coins are purely in-game currency: they are earned by clearing rows and are spent on two boosters — undoing a move (30 coins) or continuing after a lost game (60 coins). The one-time purchase “NovaBlocks Pro” unlocks all colour themes and makes both boosters unlimited and free; coin packs can be bought in addition. Both are optional — the whole game is playable without any purchase.
