Delete account and data

There is nothing for us to delete. This app creates no account and transmits no personal data to our servers. All data stays on your device only.

1. Delete inside the app

Edit or remove individual turnover or input tax lines and filing periods directly in the app.
To remove everything, delete the app from the device: on iPhone and iPad via the icon (“Remove App” → “Delete App”) or under “Settings → General → iPhone Storage”; on the Mac by moving MWSTStudio from the Applications folder to the Trash and emptying it.
Afterwards, remember the copies you created yourself: exported PDF returns and backups in iCloud or Time Machine.

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

2. Help with deleting

We cannot delete anything for you, because we hold no data from this app. If you get stuck deleting data on your device we are happy to help — write to info@babala.ch or call us: 076 222 45 99.

Please do not include any personal data from the app in your message — we do not need it in order to help.

What gets deleted

The app’s data file with all company, turnover, input tax and period data
All returns generated inside the app that have not yet been exported
The app’s settings (method, rates, filing period, appearance)

What is never stored in the first place

There is nothing for us to delete. MWSTStudio transmits no data to us: no server, no account, no transmission. You need neither contact us nor prove anything to have data deleted — deletion is entirely in your hands. For the same reason we cannot restore deleted data.

Data on your device

Everything stored locally disappears as soon as you remove the app from your device. On iOS you can additionally choose “Delete App” in the system settings; on Android use “Uninstall” or “Storage → Clear data”.

What we must keep after deletion

Before deleting, mind your own retention duty: books, receipts and VAT return records must be kept for the statutory periods (Art. 70 Swiss VAT Act, Art. 958f Swiss CO — normally ten years, longer for real estate). Export the returns as PDF and store them safely before removing the app. We keep nothing on your behalf.
