The camera detects people, motion and sounds (e.g. loud noise, breaking glass, smoke alarms) with Apple's image and sound analysis directly on the device. When Hauswache is armed it reports an event to the hub and stores a photo and a clip of about 10 seconds in your iCloud; iCloud notifies all devices with the same Apple ID. On the hub you can watch and listen live, talk at the press of a button, trigger a siren, adjust sensitivity and set privacy masks (masked areas are not shown, stored or monitored). Optionally the hub arms automatically when you leave home and disarms when you return. The “Emergency 112” button only opens the Phone app with the number 112; nothing is dialled automatically.

Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases run exclusively through the store you obtained the app from. Refunds and subscription cancellations are handled by that store: on iPhone, iPad and Mac under “Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions” or via reportaproblem.apple.com. We are happy to help with questions about this.
